#12784, "anyone know the illumina setup specifics?"

I know a drag setup is like F1 R5. What would be a good road race setup? What do you like for daily driving? I have had mine at F3 R4, but that was kinda stiff. I changed it to F2R3 and I am about to go driving.

I usually leave mine pretty low just to get a good ride (around F1R2-3). When I autoX, I use f3-4R5

the roads here sucked too bad for 2-3. The car was bouncing up and down continuously b/c the rebound was too slow I guess. Roads here are like when u hit 1 bump, you hit about 50 more real quick in a row. A rough ass section everytime. Patches that stick 1-2" off level, etc. I hate it. I set it back to 3-4.

I currently have my Illumina's set at 4 in the front.
In the rear I have AGX's set at 7 (adjustable up to 8). They were originally set at 4, but one of them started making this 'whooshing' sound, so I upped it up to 7 and it doesn't make any noise anymore. I find I like the stiffer ride better anyway.

Mine are set at F3R3 and I love the ride. Then again, i was on blown shocks for a good six months.. so my perception of a 'good ride' may be a little screwed up.

i had the non adjust tokico before, and they felt like 2-3 for the adjust which i got now.. 1 and 2 feel like crap to me.. car cant grip the road for shi*... i had it on 4f/r for a long time that was great held the road nicely. now i got it on 5f/r and it seems a bit to hard for me, but i going to change it when i got time back to 4...this is with pro kit springs...

I'm on pro kits, and 3FR seems nicest. Not harder in rear, so the rebound isn't hard on the back pushing the ass up faster than the front. The car travels pretty much evenly distributed. Stock feel, lowered stance, and still a performance feel for the road. More on the side of performance than stock, but a nice ride.
