I have a 17" rims it has a 215/45R17 tires. Its worn out and looking for replacement. I've look around town and they are charging me between 150 to 160 dollars. That includes installation and balancing. Is that a good price? Thanks guys...

no that's bad for cheap tires. if you want cheap then go kumho. should be closer to 100 even per tire. they're not that great but chances are they'll grip better than the cheapos they're selling. look at stuff from yokohama/dunlop/sumitomo as well. yok's come in all sizes and usually have a good price in that size.

http://www.tirerack.com should reflect the prices of your local tire shop, that's the biggest competition any shop has as far as sales.

I run falkens. They seem decent. I paid around 420 for a set of 4 I think. been a while.

Nitto 450's go for about 115 a tire, and 555's go for 130 a tire. Other than in the rain I am real happy with mine and they have a real nice aggressive look and feel. Nitto's all the way!
