I just got a set of stainless steel brake lines and was wondering if I should do the work myself. What would I need to do the switch? What should I be prepared for? About how much time is involved. TIA. Later.

You should be able to make the switch with regular open ended wrenches. After you install the new lines, you'll need to bleed the brakes. Thats not so bad is it?

Yeah do it yourself. It really helps to have an extra hand to bleed them, or get some speed bleeders. Have you upgraded the brakes yet?? If no then those new brake lines aren't going to much more than look better than the rubber hoses. The stock 2gnt brakes are notorious for being kind of crappy.
