I have coil overs, struts, and upper sway bars coming in and am attempting the install with a friend on Sunday. How long you guys think we are looking at?? Any special things we gonna need? I have access to a spring compressor and an air compressor, as well as the rest of the tools i will need. Any tricks or hints for the install are appreciated. My friend is pretty mechanically inclined. Only jobs i have done myself are oil changes, changed rotors and calipes, discected my interior, and took off throttle body + put on CAI. Tia

i just changed shocks all around....No way can you get it done in 4 hours unless you know exactly what you are doing. If you know someone who has done it before, have then help you because there are alot of stupid little things that can and will slow you down. It took me about 6.5 hours to do 2 wheels (passenger side), then 2.5 hours the next day to do the other 2 wheels (drivers side), and thats with air tools etc. The rears are a joke to do, just make sure you put the bushings on the struts back in the exact order that they came off.... The fronts are another story. Follow the directions on the main page.

yeah the fronts can take awhile to do. just have an extra jack to use when doing those to help you reduce the stress being put on the sway bar up there.. when you get to it you'll see what i mean.. or hopefully you will when you cant get the bolt/nut off one of the sway bar linkages.. other than that its not too bad. you'll need the spring compressor for the front springs, but the back it is not really necessary, but still useful. i also would gauge about 4-6hrs depending on how quickly you can get evertyhing apart and such. now there might be some issues to deal with since you are doing the coilover route, but probably wont take too much time. start as early in the day as possible in case it takes longer than expected..
