#10995, "98 GS Brake Rotor Upgrade"

Guys I think I may have a problem.Help. I need new rotors so I ordered a set of KVR for the fronts. They had cataloged for cars with 14" wheels or 16-17" wheels. I went with 16" cause that is what I have. But I measured them and they are larger than the stock 10", they measure about 10.8". Will they fit my stock calipers or will I have to return and exchange them for the smaller ones? or can i get a mounting bracket somewhere? Help.

weasle745: and then to top it off, im not even an attractive guy. I look like Millhouse from the Simpsons, cant put on weight if my life depended on it, etc

Yeah, I'll second that. The front rotors are the same size for the RS, GS, and GST for all the years.

Sell them to me, and buy another set at the same price.

Speaking of GSX rotors and brakes, will the GSX 2 piston calipers fit on our stock sized rotors? I think our rotors are 3/4" smaller in diameter, so I think they would fit, but the brake pad would just hang off a little bit. Has anyone done this??

nah they'll fit but they're a bit bigger and thicker than our stocks.

It'd be rather pointless to use the GSX calipers and GS rotors. At best you would be getting GS braking performance.
