I want to know what the good and the bag and the ugly is about airbags. I wanna get them on my 97 eclipse. I have coilovers but it get annoying when i wanna lower my car I have to get out, jack up my car, etc. Also I want sumpin that'll help me win car shows. I mean, everyone has a body kit, some rims, and a spoiler. Now too many people have bags. Thanks for all your help people.

What car shows do u go too?. The ones i do every other person has airbags. Plus I don't think airbags alone will help u win shows. Which I’m sure u know. I don't think anybody on this board has air bags to my knowledge. But I’ll ask my friend with bags to give u step by step on what it’s like good bad. And other wise but he might be bias cuzz he loves them, he’s a bit of a showoff and likes to drop his car in front of girls. I guess I am too I like purging in front of people. But too your credit a lot of shows are won by people with bags. I guess too me it has that lowrider feel I don’t like u know? so I’m kinda bias myself. I’m a speed demon with a little bit off show in me. But anyways I’ll talk to him he has a 99 DSM so I’ll talk to him tonight and let u know.

Air bags usually leak after a while and the ride is not very good for performance. They look cool, but cost a lot. I would just get adjustable coilovers, since air bags won't really help win shows much, everyone has em.

my friend has air bags, paid around 1,300 and put them in himself and they don't leak if you get the good hoses that hold alot of pressure and then you will be all set, but I would never every get the air bags for daily driving only for shows, because it sucks, every time my friend takes a corner, the whole car just goes to one side, and hits the side skirts when he turns and never know how high it is or how low it is, he needs to get out of the car and look how high it is and when he gets back into the car then the just dropes a little and when you have more then 2 people in the car then it's really bad, after what my friends goes throw, I would never get air bags

Well I think Ground Controls are like 250 and skunks are like 225 i don't know if you want to change your shocks too i would but that's just me. I have Skunk2 coilovers with koing 5 way adjustables with a camber kit(I forget what kind) it cost me like 650 total i did the install myself pretty easy. I think u can get a good system for a little bit less. I got mine at a time where the was only 2 coilovers made for our cars. Think there like 7 or 8 now,

Actually ground controls for eclipses retail at 399, and you're lucky if you get get them under 350. Skunk2's usually go for around 290 or so nowadays. If you're lucky, you can probably get em for 270 or so.
