1. I have this bad grinding sound comeing from the rear suspension. This sound started once I got new wheels on. They are 16's with 205/55's so I doubt they are rubbing with a 1.3" drop. I only hear it when I make a left turn...its louder when I make a slow left turn, like to pull into a parking space. I can't find/see anything that could be rubbing and there is no signs of rubbing on any of the rear suspension parts(i.e. marks, gashes, ect...) My struts are blown, but thanks to Thura I will be getting some Tokico blues in the mail hopefully next week. This the struts will cure the sound? Do you think the sound is strut related? I don't think my drums are in good shape either but the sound only occurs when I make turns, not when I make a stop.

2. My rear suspension sounds loose as hell...I dunno whats going on there. Everything is torqued down to the correct ft lbs, nothing is loose. I went back and made sure everything was retorqued last night. Still when I am driving it sounds like its gonna fall apart on me or something. Sounds junkie, like everything is being kocked around and nothing is stable. Any ideas on how to cure this?

Sorry for the long post. Hope i explained everything alirght. HELP!!!!

the blues might help. I can vouch for the quality of what you're getting - they came off my car.

As far as the rear suspension.. check the rubber bushings. They make wierd noises when they die. Also check out your braking system - you could have a warped rotor.

Bushings, didn't consider that...ok, I'll check that out. I hear its a fairly big job to replace suspension bushings. Are suspension bushings prone to wear out qucily on lowered cars? If the bushings are the problem, would it be easier to just replace the shot bushings or would it be a better idea to change out all suspension bushings in one big job? I fear my wallet is about to take a heavy hit either wa

Also on the brakes... I have just replaced the front brakes with GSX calipers and raceconcept rotors. I fear the drums may be my problem. They were squeaking prettly loud a couple of weeks ago, now they make no sound and my brake balancing is a little off since the front is upgraded.

Little Rant about Drums:
I hate drums...I don't even know why companies put drums on cars anymore. Its an old outdated form of a braking system and should be banned on all cars...no matter if the model of the car is the higher end or lowest model available I think all cars should come with 4 rotors on all corners. I hate drums

Located the problem with a friend. Turns out the wheel bearings are shot and my drums need a makeover. Just thought I'd post since some people might be experiencing the same symptoms with their car.

The loose sound just started maybe 2 weeks ago and progressivly got worse. My car has been lowered on stock struts for over a year on Pro-Kits. I had no problems with any kinds of rattling or loose sounds until this started. Now my problem is locating new bearings or having to replace the whole spindle
