Woohoo well I finally did it I installed all of the brake goodies I said I was gonna install. Basically installed: 3000GT SL front dual pistons calipers RRE Stainless Steel Brake lines J-Speed slotted/drilled front rotors Raceconcepts slotted/drilled rear rotors and Motul Dot4 600 Racin Brake Fluid
Took me a while to get everything cleaned and painted up also but it turned out great. i drove it for a bit and the brake pedal is still mushy so I think I gotta bleed it some more. But it looks like it stops well. well here are da pix
Clean and detailed Brackets Clean and detailed Calipers Dual Piston Caliper vs stock single piston Motul 600 brake fluid and RRE Stainless steel brakelines DSM Dual Pistons Caliper SLotted/Drilled Rotor VS Stock 2GNT rotor! Wow look at the difference in size!
and yes you'll get a write up in a few days, its not very hard though if you've worked on brakes b4 this'll be a piece of cake. I'll take some pix of the whole car with the new brakes tommorow. Woohoo no more 14s! Maybe I can squeeze some 15s in there... Gonna take it for a test drive on a touge run this weekend ^_^

did you end up using the gsx sized rotors for the front.. if so what kind did you end up getting and approx how much did they run.. my calipers have been collecting dust and id like to get them one in the near future.

haha I've been posting my brake plans for a quite sometime now with the prices but here we go, this is the total I spent for everything:
J-speed front Eclipse AWD rotors from RSVersin- 70 bux (+shipping comes out to 96 for me)
Race Concepts Rear brake rotor for Eclipse FFs- 80 bux (I forget shipping)
RRE Stainless Steel Brake lines- 80 bux (I had to send them a picture of the dual piston calipers to get the proper ones, almost bought the wrong ones, thanx to when I installed Kory's I knew somethin was up)
Dual Piston Calipers NO BRACKETS- 50 bux (I bought some brackets off of this guy earlier That dude sure gave me a good deal, the brackets were included so I have a spare set now, it came with pads, shims, and even brake lines )
Dual Piston Caliper Brackets- 40 bux
VHT caliper paint- 20 bux
Genuine Mitsubishi Pads w/ shims- 20 bux (got em on ebay a long time ago when I knew I was gonna do the upgrade and saw these and had to get em)
Now that's pretty much the whole deal, technically I really only spent 160 bux for the calipers and the rotors. But the grand total for the whole deal comes out to 378. I'd say that's a pretty good deal considering I got new lines out of it and now I have a brake system that rivals those 500 to 1000 dollar brake upgrades
Yes the fitting for the front brakes were different than the stock ones. The stock calipers used a banjo fitting these ones didn't it was like my rear brakes. Go figure hehe... But I got these brakes for a 3000GT SL so GSX, Galant VR4, and Diamante brakes may have banjo fittings. In fact I'll find out the GSX for you today when Kory comes over

I used a washer to keep the banjo bolt from bottoming out on mine. No leaks yet, and much better stopping power with the AWD brakes. Great upgrade. -=B-=
