#10553, "Rear Suspension goes Clunk......."

Ever since yesterday my rear suspension makes a clunking sound. Gets worse when I turn the wheel...doesn't matter which way, right or left. Its just the back wheels from what I can tell.

My struts are gone so I know I need to replace them....is there something else? Bushings possibly....Definetly sounds like metal on metal....

Seems like the problems just keep on coming. Get one thing fixed and bam, something else fucks up emoji

If it clunks only when going over bumps or potholes, then you're probably right......either a sway or controll arm bushing.

i have that problem. my back left suspension has eaten away the bushing. Whats the best replacement for the bushing? Satan or aftermarket? I have heard of some urethane bushings but not sure if they fit that part.

I'm thinking control arm bushings. Where can I find aftermarket suspension bushings? Thanks!

Hold on, you gotta buy the whole bushing set? Energy Suspension front and rear control arm bushings, front and rear upper shock bushings, and manual transmission shifter bushings? I couldn't afford the labor on this kind of thing and I don't have the equipment to put these on. There has to be an alternative...anyone?

I thought I was having that problem, but I found out it was my catback exhaust. The stock bushing were worn out. I went to a muffler shop and the dug some up that would fit. They din't even charge me for them.
