#10153, "Question about strut bars........"

Hey guys. What's up.
I jsut installed my front strut bar last nite.
And today when I drive my car...I feel I am so much more in control.
So now, ..... I am very interested to get teh rear done too.
But I do have question.
Since I don't konw the difference between them.
I mean, what exactly does the strut bar do?
Also, for the rear, do I need the rear strut bar? or the Sway bar?
waht are they? what's the difference?
Thanks guys.
Gilbert

the strut bar ties the upper portion of your suspension together, which in turn minimizes body/chasis flex while cornerin..

u can get both, rear strut and sway bar... i would suggest the strut bar for now, and if u get into serious autoX racin, or if u wanna take the corners faster, then get better swaybars...

swaybars will help w/body roll and complete a suspension setup...

there is a website taht talks more about this stuff.. i dun have the link handy since im not at 100% moved, and my comp isnt online..

i think its like 2turn-harder, and 2go-faster pages... sumone may hook it up for u...

i run the nuespeed bar up front, and a rear strut bar... waitin for lower tie bars, and if im not happy w/my cornerin then, i may hit up them swaybars... since they are the most expensive outta all suspension parts (not includin springs/struts) i have pushed em to the bottom of the list for suspension...

good luck, and i hope i answered your? a lil

Sways make a tremendous difference. More so then anything else, debatably.I would get at least a rear bar, but I want a set of 2, so I can dial in slight oversteer.

Hey Sean, you don't have factory sway bars? That is odd..... I figured that all the anniversary editions would have them since mine does. Weird
