#9831, "CV Boot repair"

I hit a F***ing huge pothole and sheared off the retainer clip on my
AGX shock. I lowered itself and broke the cv boot. I drove it home and now its torn apart. It was dry outside so no moisture got in. THe question is how hard is it and what are the steps to change the cv boot, and is a new axle really needed?? Also, grease went everywhere, once i get the new boot how do i pack the grease in?

me with A-10's Avenger Cannon- can you say depleted uranium rounds?

new axle is not needed but it is more costeffective to go get a remanufactured axle thn have to press off the joint to get a new boot on , with a reman axle you get a new axle plus new joints and boots.
