I just got my 17x7" w/ 42 mm offset Tenzo Passion 5's shipped to me, and I was wanting to get Yokohama Parada Spec-II's but they don't make the recommended 215/45/17 tire size, they do make 215/40/17 however.
So, should I get a different 45 series tire, or should I go w/ the 40 series (so I can get the Parada's)?
The 215/40/17 Parada's are $103 each at tirerack.com, and the 215/45/17 Yokohama AVS ES100's are $97 each (which is the tire I'm looking at in the 45 series unless you have a better idea).

215-45-17's are slightly smaller than stock. 225-45-17's are slightly larger than stock. Personally I wouldn't mess with 215-40-17's. They're going to be a lot smaller than stock in diameter and you will have a larger gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of your fender. Go with the 215 45's or the 225 45's.
