#1492, "Alignments"

I've been running around for weeks, trying to find someone that will align my car. I went by at least 15 shops and called another 10. The bumper is only about 2 inches above the ground on the lowest point. Every mechanic that looks at it just shakes his head...
Anybody with a lowered car has any suggestions for me??? It needs an alignment bad. Just don't tell me to put the stock springs back on

will they not align it cause it's to low to fit on their machine or cause you got mad neg camber. mine was too low for most everyone so i took it to one of those small shops and they used wood blocks while i drove it on the rack. when i get my front camber kit this week i'll have to take the front bumper off to get it on the rack. hehehe!

More than likely her car won't fit on the racks. Mine barely fit on the rack at Pep Boys and the front clip was resting on the front lip. I also have the advantage of my best friend working there. All I can think of is asking if they can use wooden planks to help your car up on the rack....like they would getting it on a flat bed toe truck. I've heard that some places will have you sign a waiver not holding them responsible for your car. Nothing should happen to it from looking at your pics. Good luck

...at my local sears autocenter. They make me sign a waiver for my performance alignment.

Thanks!

The camber is not the problem. Most places told me that they need at least a 4" clearance. I went to a few places that have a pit instead of a rack and they told me that they won't do it cause they can't even get the jack under the car to get all the alignment tools there...

I guess I'll just have to keep on looking for a shop that will do it.
