isn't the usual cause warped rotors? i've had powerslot rotors for a few months now. i was under the impression that they would not warp. if not, what are the possibilities?

well if your steering wheel only shakes when your braking then you have warped rotors. If, like me, your steering wheel shakes while your driving at any speed then its most likely an unbalanced wheel.

if you get vibration all the time it is either an unbalanced tire or alignment problems. Sometimes certain alignment problems can cause the steering wheel to shake a bit, but more likely it's an unbalanced tire as it is easy to throw a wheel weight.

If it occurs ONLY under braking, then your rotors are warped.

no, my steering wheel is not vibrating. this may sound weird, but i feel somewhat of a vibration in my brake pedal when i apply the brakes. i remember what it felt like when the brakes were new, and this is COMPLETELY different. what is it that's going on?

Are your brakes squeeking?? Were they and did it stop?? Does it vibrate a lot, or feel like your brakes have sand paper on them?? Warped rotors will make your whole car and steering wheel shake. Are your rotors still smooth?? Check everything, take off your wheel and look at the brake, it's really easy to see whats wrong. Usually, except for warped rotors

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

Hey man I had the same problem... once I reached 45-50 mph and tried braking, the whole car vibrated something fierce. Had to get the rotors refinished. And as far as loose lugs go, he would be vibrating even when he wasnt braking (I know, had a wheel to come off) Hope this helps.

hondas make me sick
