#228, "which classification"

Hey guys,
I'm considering going with the NA. Any idea what classification to run in and who/what I would be running against. Also, can you usually get more than 1 run in at test and tune time?

Thanks,
MB

There is no NA class at the SO. There isn't even a FWD class at the SO. So you'll be running in one of two brackets - 13.00 and slower and 12.99 and faster (I think that's how they're split up).
As long as the weather cooperates you should be able to get in quite a few runs.

Thanks, Greg. Crap, I ain't running down to 13's, lol!

Thanks Brian. I was really hoping that I would hear from you. I appreciate that. I'm telling you that Todd is going to drop his number down real quick when he gets out of his stock TB. His problem is going to be getting the RPM's (as you know). One of our clubs has track day on Friday. I'm hoping to lower it, but she is breaking up a little above 8k. I'll dyno tomorrow and see what I can see.

Norwalk is now a maybe.

Thanks again,
MB

I'd be interested in hearing more about your set up. Care to share with the group?

No problem. I'll just copy it from a previous post

Inside:
JE 10.5
Crower 2
Stainless valves
.020 off head
5 angle valve job
Personal port and polish (intake and exhaust)
MLS Head gasket
Of course, full rebuild on bearing etc. (stock)
Full float wrist pins

Outside:
AF/X pulley
AF/X ECU
Jeep 60 mm TB
Personal port and polish intake
1 adj. cam gear on intake side
E-bay Ram air intake
E-bay 4-1 header (cleaned up with grinder)
"hi-flow cat"
2.5 exhaust
No power steering
Spec 4 modular clutch

Suspension;
tiens and adj KYB's (1.8 drop) in front
stock springs adj KYB in back

No secret surprises. The power is in the top end. 1st shift point at 8500 (actually start my shift at around 8200 but end up near 8500).

Brian,
IF I go up to the SO, you are welcome to take it for a drive if you so desire. Hell, if I go up there and get enough runs in you're welcome to take a run if you want. I totally understand apples to apples. I have the curiousity factor also.
