#5517, "yet another MS question"

Im planning on going full standalone and yadda yadda yadda....

I was just wondering for you guys that do run full standalone how do you keep tabs on whats going on with your engine if MS will never throw a check engine light or alert you to something that is going wrong?

Im concerned about something happening to me on a long trip and not finding out until later.

Excuse me if this has been discussed I didnt know how to word what I was looking for

Most people that run MS have that common sense and know how there car is running. The important gauges you would need would be wide band, oil pressure, coolant temp, fuel pressure and voltage. Of course there are some other important gauges but those imo should be mandatory when going full stand alone with MS. If your anal about the check engine light then imo MS is not for you.

Exactly. You are not going to have a OEM functioning EVAP system anyway if you are running MS as a standalone.
