#4628, "Big trouble with Megatune"

First off Im not new to the MS scene, I have been running this for over a year with hardly any issues. Recently I decided to reimage my computer and moved everything to an external HD. Well I put everything back on the computer but when I tried to connect to MS I got an error. Megatune version doesn't match MS version or something like that. I fought with this thing for hour yesterday trying to get megatune to match. I was running code hr 11c1. So I ended up reflashing MS with code hr10. Got the car running well and did a log to make my tune a little better. Tried to open it in megalog viewer and could never find it. I was in the right folder but the log wont pop up.

I have the folder for the hr11c1 file and tried to load the copyini folder to megatune but keep getting an error. Im have never had this much trouble with MS until now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sometimes you have to manually go into megatunes program folder and delete the .ini file, then double back and reload the copyini. This is one of the many reasons I switched to Tunderstudio; problem solved.

Fuck. I still cant get it to work. I dont know what im doing wrong. I cant really find any directions that are really clear. I can usually figure this kinda shit out but I am really stumped this time. I figured out how to get an older code working, somethign that is already programed into megatune.

First download the new version you want to run. hr11c2 is the lastest out at this time. After you download that file extract the files from the zipped folder. Locate these files and open the folder. The folder should be named whichever version you downloaded. Find the file "msns-extra" not the s19 file. Right click on this file and copy it. Now go find your Megatune2.25 folder, then open mtCfg and paste the msns-extra file in here. You can overwright the file that is already in there or rename it if you might switch back to that firmware later. Once the new file is pasted in that fold go ahead and rename it to "msns-extra.ini.hr11c2" or whatever firmware you are using. Now open megatune and go into the configuration settings. Under megatune2.25 find your new file you put in megatune. Highlight this file and now go under file and click activate. Now go back the new firmware folder and burn the new firmware to MS. That is pretty straight forward so I wont go over that. Hope this helps some of you guys out.
