prety self explanatory...should i keep the stock ECU or go with haltech?? i have heard good things about haltech but a lot of people tell me that i dont need it and i can do wonders with stock ECU....now if i get haltech does anyone know people in the chicago area that work with haltech??

No, no you can't. I'm guessing those people are thinking of the 4g63 ECU.

I believe there was a member on here who was running Haltech. Maybe he'll chime in.

thanks yhea prob were because i do know people do exploit the 4g63 ECU...thank you though now problem is finding someone that will tune it....

Not hot on MS? A lot of people using it with success on here...

well i already bought and installed the HALTECH...should i sell it and get another ECU? because i do have heard that is a pain in the ass to tune with haltech.....

Tuning all standalones are pretty much the same. Its the add ons that change.

If your in Chicago then take it to AMS.

You should have gone with an Meqasquirt for 1/3 the cost.

If you have never tuned a standalone.....Its going to be a real pain.
