ok well i have a 98 eclipse, with an aftermarket turbo. I just bought EMS Pro for my car and am in the process of installing it. There are some things I am having trouble with. I do not know how to configure the DIP switches to work with the crank sensor. Also, is there somewhere to get a base map to load into the ems pro that would work for my car to get it started?

thank you and sorry if posting in the wrong spot.

I moved your post to the Engine Management Section...hopefully that helps you out. But what you have there is pretty new, at least to 2gnt. I had to look it up to see what it was actually. But if it's based on MS or MS2 some of those gurus might be able to help you out.

Good luck.

It looks like a really promising system! I'd be curious to see if it runs the same software as MS, or what new provisions it has. I went down the DIP list in the install manual, and (someone may double-check this) this is what I came up with:
Set SW1:
1-D
2-U
3-D
4-D
5-U
6-U
7-D
8-D *If not using CamPosition for anything, you can leave Up

Set SW2:
1-D
2-D
3-D
4-D
5-U

(U=Up/Off D=Down/On)

Hopefully this'll help ya!

I don't know anything about the DIP switch positions (I'm sure it's explained in its documentation), but the EMS Pro sounds like the same thing as the Spectre EMS Pro. Just to clear things up, it's basically a re-packaged MSnS-E. It runs on the same firmware/tuning software. It has most of the optional features installed and costs about twice as much as any other pre-built MS unit.
