My Gash wont turn on when i start the car sometimes. I am running MSn'S-E as full standalone running e85, completely eliminated the factory ecu and the un-needed wires for it and made a new engine harness. Everthing starts and runs great but I have noticed sometimes when i flip my turn signals it will power on the the dash but not all the time. What could be causing this? do i need to wire up the dash power so that it will turn on when the key is on? If so what wire or wires need to be hooked up?

Kudos to you for running MSnS as full stand alone (and running e85 at that)! I'm moving this to the tuning forum so the MS guys can offer their suggestions.

You might have already addressed this, but I'm pretty sure that e85 is detrimental to any rubber lines in your fuel system. Have you replaced all your rubber lines with the right lines for running alcohol yet?

While I don't completely understand what you mean by your turn signal sometimes turns on your dash, it does sound like you may have accidentally severed a wire you didn't need to. This could be a power or ground side issue, so give as much detail as possible to what you mean by you dash doesn't turn on.

I highly recommend buying the FSM which will have all the electrical diagrams for the car to make this sort of thing easy.

My buddy has my fsm and he took it with him to college and dino's site is down... The gauge cluster wont power on sometimes no srs light, no e-brake light, no seatbelt light, and no rpm if the car is running. It just decides when it wants to turn on for me, and once it is on it stays on til I turn the car off.

figured it out it was a loose connection at the interior fuse box.
