So my Dell latitude took a major pooh, it was a 2004 Latitude. I bought a Dell Inspiron and on arrival I realize that it doesnt have the 9 pin serial port that the old one had. All this one has is a 15 pin serial port and a few USB's.
Now I read that some have had probs with USB and some havent.

Can ya guys help me out?

So am I correct if I find a USB adapter that doesnt have prolific or cypress chipsets, I'll be fine?
