Just finally starting to get going with tuning now. The car starts up perfect it runs then the ignitor box gets excessivley hot and starts to smoke. I made sure the wires were all correct. After a short time the car starts to run richer and eventually fowels the plugs. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your dwell settings are off. Set the cranking dwell to 25.0, running dwell to 4.7 and the minimum discharge period to 0.3

The longer your dwell time the hotter it will get... When it is in dwell you are pulling quite a few amps from the coil through the ignition box to ground.

Keep lowering you dwell until you get stable results.

Which ignitor box are you using? the DSM one? If you are still having problems with that, you could always switch to the crane box to fire your coil packs. You could also look into using the VB921 solution, but I have not had good luck with those working right just yet.
