So I wired up my MS to grab it's power from the ASD circuit, and I kept the injectors and everything getting it's power from the ASD circuit.
I don't want the stock ECU to touch my precious CAS signal :p. So I just have the 9v going to it from the ECU, and then a shielded pair (ground, signal, shield) hooked to the CAS (shield only grounded at MS).
Since the ECU wants to "see" the CAS hooked up in order for it to power up everything (the ASD circuit), how can I go about tricking the ECU into thinking it's hooked up?
Surely there is a cheaper/better way then to buy another CAS sensor.

Scratch my original setup...
Right now I'm just tapped into the CAS signal at the CAS. I have the CAS grounded only to the megasquirt, along with the wire shield.
I got a dedicated relay to power the MS directly from the battery, which gets it's signal to turn on from the black/white ignition wire at the stock ECU.
