I got my injectors dsm 450s and I kinda want to see what other people are using for characteristics. I know more then one person on here is using those injectors and just would like to see what you guys have them set at. I was going to use 30% and 1.0. Thats what the msns site says to start at for low impedance injectors. Just curious. It would also be cool to see what your fuel pressure is too. I was planing to be at about 30 psi.

I've used DSM 450s with the MegaSquirt before. Set your static fuel pressure at 43.5 PSI and follow the instructions in the MS manual for setting the characteristics of low-impedance injectors. Make adjustments as needed. They work great.

Thanks doug but I just wanted to see what everybody else was ended up at. I am going to start at the 30% and the 1.0 and work my way down and I understand every set of injectors will be alittle different. It would just be neet to see where they are all at. Could you explain static fp and idle to me. My understanding is static would be the fuel pressure without the vacuum line attached and idle would be with the vacuum line. Is that right?

That's a pretty high PWM value... If you have a flyback board or a 3.0 mainboard you should be able to go as low as 30 or 40% depending on the injector, pressure, etc...

Can the Megasquirt be configured to dsm injectors with a resistor pack already hooked up? I'm just now trying to become familiarized with the electronics in the Megasquirt.

Yeah, but you will configure the MS to run the injectors as if they were "high impedence".
