Ok so i'm running the emanage ultimate but cannot get the software to recognize my car to allow me to adjust the settings. Its throwing a Air Flow Signal Not Found code. How have the people using the old emanage picked up their signal? I understand the ignition part of it wont work but as far as I know thats the only problem with the setup. I also read that the GReddy MAP sensor is a MUST to run the emanage on our car? Is this true? Someone please help the shop tuning my car is incompetent and will not do the research and I'm limited in the knowledge of how it works. I need some answers on how to get this running in detail so I can get the car out of the shop. ----------------------------------- 97 RS-T, STAR Stage 2, HAHN FMIC, Decah Lambo Doors, 19" Axis Hiros, Built 420a -----------------------------------

I am using the blue, however i think the hookups are the same. are there still 3 trim pots on the ultimate unit? if so try to set them to 3 C 1 or 3 8 A these two combos have worked. You will HAVE to get the greddy pressure sensor if you want to control fuel during boost. Our stock map does not read positive pressure. other than that i think you should be good to go. You have the unit hooked up correctly right?

same setup I have, I am using the msd 6212 programmable dis2 for ignition control. I am running 440cc/min injectors with the sfmu. the only code i get is the no vtec signal becasue I am using a rotary switch setting that was supposed to be for a honda map sensor. it does not affect the function of the unit though. I will see if i have a map on my laptop. for some reason I don't think I saved any becasue I am using the Profec E-01 for programming. I have only hooked up the laptop to the emanage like 3 times.

Yeah anything helps, I'm in the process of tuning. Also I was wondering since you have the msd ignition box programmble (w/boost retard) like I do, Can you advance timing with this unit? If so I can't find where to do it.

nope sorry, no advance with the 6212. only retard. if you want to advance timing. you could possibly do it by leaning out that area on the fuel map if possible. this should advance the timing slightly, but it is very limited. you would definitely need to make sure you have enough fuel so if you are going to use this trick you would need to increase the fuel pressure to deliver the correct amount of fuel. I have never had the need to advance timing, especially on an aftermarket turbo'd car.

Yeah, the only reason I wanted to advance timing on it, was during idle, and driving before you enter boost, but it really doesn't matter that much, I'm to not worried about it.

I just installed the Ultimate, I also have the Airflow input 1 not detected error. Did you get the issues worked out and tuned. I have tried the HN-pr1 and the SD-pr1, both with no help. Did your car run stupid rich on start-up (9.3-10.5) with a crappy idle for a few seconds then smooth out yet stay rich.

Well I had the emange blue, and when we fist stared it up the emange would be on but wouldn't control anything, and the car ran on the factor stock ecu maps (like the ones when you first turn the car on the very first tiime you buy it, lol) But it only did that when you turned the car on and the emanage came on at the same time, but when you turned it on and then turned the emange off and the back on it would work..so we figured out it was a wiring issue and fixed that.....but that was why my car was running pig rich.
