How do server memory usage and the over all size of 2gnt relate? As time goes on and 2gnt gains more threads, does the memory usage increase? Does the cost of the server usage increase?

The reason i ask, there are a lot of old posts that do not serve any usefullness to someone searching and could possibly be deleted to save on server usage and maybe save money?

Just curiousity.

Terry

It'd be more work to find and remove "useless" threads than to just leave them be. They don't create any more load, other than increasing the overall size of the database.

Thread usefulness is also relative. justbecause it's nothing to you doesn't mean someone won't find it helpful.

Actually, three years or so ago when we went to a php/mysql solution, site disk usage dropped something like 75%. So no, they're not, really.
