I am going to be meeting up with Luke (Hult250R) and Jordan (BlueMan) Thursday afternoon in Iowa and we're going to split a hotel room that night in Chicago so we're ready to roll first thing Friday AM. I've got a couple questions for the locals.

1. I will be picking up John at O'Hare Thursday night. Can anyone jump on Hotels.com or something and find us a decent place to stay that's close to O'Hare where our cars will be safe sitting outside at night? Looking for something under $80/night if possible. I'm not familiar with the area at all and the lowest price isn't always a good place to leave your car after dark, if you know what I mean.

2. Will there be a caravan departing Chris's place like last year? I know a couple people are crashing there, so I'm thinking there will be a few cars leaving there. Basically, I'm trying to figure out where we will need to be and about what time so we're all ready to roll with the caravan.

That's pretty much it. I leave in ten days and I still need to book a hotel for us and make sure we have a plan of action for Friday AM so we don't get left behind.

Anyone? TIA.

Here brian i might be able to find cheaper but this is right by the airport only 2 miles away. if you pair up with someone its about 80.00 each person room is 144.00 2 beds. I can prolly find you cheaper if you dont mind being farther away from the airport.

Luke dependign on how far north you want to go if you bed down around plainfield area or joliet it will be about 55.00. everyone from chris's house will need to head back south in the am towards I-80 anyhow.

norwalk is a 4 hour drive from indy, bout 2 and a half hours from where we met up last year with michigan and indy/chicago converge. i will probly just have someone call me that is leaving in chicago, when they are leaving, that way i know the exact time they are hitting the road. i am heading up to aaron's house and spending the night there again this year. much more convenient than trying to coordinate a 3 hour trip to meet right on time.

checking in at 1500, due to michigan holdups, should be excellent.

Guys add 45mins at least to your drive time. construction by the 294 bottleneck going into indiana is really bad with traffic. Any time of day is bad.
