#99900, "Car won't crank starter relay maybe"

I read an earlier post about this problem but here's whats goin on. My car will not crank when I turn the key to start. I can see the voltage going down but no cranking. So I have to resort to jumping the starter to the battery. Now when the car is warm it will crank up. I'm thinking its a relay problem because relays work by heating up a coil I'm thinking when it gets warm after running it gets a better connection.

Is there a relay that goes to the starter? Where can I find it if so? Or should I just ghetto rig an engine start switch.

My car has a similar problem, except when it happens, the temp outside is really hot and/or when I've been driving for a long time. When I turn the key I don't hear any starter click or fuel pump, but it started right up when I wiggle the starter wire cables. I'm curious to find out what the exact cause/fix of this is?

Check the wiring going to the starter solenoid (like a relay), it's directly on top of the starter. I had this problem and it ended up being the wire that triggered the starter solenoid wouldn't properly connect when turning the key and was just a loose connection.

There should be 2 (two) wires. One being power, and the other going to the starter solenoid.
