Sup guys. Last week I posted if I can buy 4G63 eclipse's injectors for our 420A engine to use without any modification, and Darkone said just change the O-ring. so I purchased the 680cc injectors and they arrived today!
They are huge (680cc!) But now I am looking at both of the tips of each injector, and they are totally different compare to my current injector for 420A. So do I just pull the o-ring out from my current injector and put the o-ring into my new set of injectors and it will work and not leak? (do I have to change both of the o-ring for each injector?)
Coz to me it seems like that even if I change the O-ring, the O-ring will not stay on there tight or the o-ring is possible to slide up and down. This is because from the pic, the current injectors I am using has a gap or grove on the injector's tip for the o-ring to go into, but my new 680cc injectors doesn't.
Any help will be appreicated. BTW, I am using the new injectors with the Megasquirt setup.
Check out the picture below, the 330cc is what I am using now on my eclipse, and the 680cc is what I just received for the MS setup.
