whats up guys? its been a while, if anyone even remembers me from awhile. Anyway, my car has been in a blissful state of "Driveable" without any problems. Then I dont have a clutch...damn Fate. At least i think my clutch is gone. There's no resistance in it and ill be damned if i could switch gears...i was lucky to get home. i thought it might be the brake fluid so i put some in and my Brake light went off and my clutch died. Is it time for a new clutch for my new turbo that i might as well put on now? (i hate money issues) Is this a little premature with the clutch?
thanx a lot guys,
Isaac

I read about the EVO coming NEXT YEAR!!!!!! I hope its not just a rumor =)

mine jes died yesterday. whe mine went out, i could shift gears without even pressing the clutch and it wouldnt stall. when your driving and it starts to rev for no reason and the car isnt getting any faster, yea its about to die. then when you press the gas and its in gear and it only revs. its dead. id look into a new clutch very very soon if this is happening to you

Their is no pedal feel, you got a leak somewhere. Find the leak and put more fluid and bleed that should fix your problem.

that same problem happened to me last week. Of course my clutch completely shattered (was rusted all the way through). I had them replace it and it still didnt feel right. There was no pedal pressure and i couldnt shift gears even after they fixed it. When i was in 1st gear i could hold the clutch all the way in and let off the gas and the car would go by itself. Last night i did a little bit of maintenence and used a power bleeder to bleed my clutch line. You might have air in ur clutch line caused by a leak or there could be a pressure plate problem. Go to an autoparts store and see if they sell power bleeders, and you might need an air compressor. hope that helps some.

Yeah first check your fluid levels and if you got air in the cylinders. Same thing happened to me 1.5 months ago. I had to replace my clutch the first time, second time I was only leaking fluid. Replacing our clutch is kinda pricey because they told me that FWD cars cost way more to repair since they have to remove axles in order to get to clutch. But yeah definitely check the fluid level and bleed it before taking the car to a shop.
