i know this should be in the A/T section, but no one reads or replies in there so im hoping i can get the answers here, that i couldnt find through searching.
well i first tried calling transgo themself to ask for help, and the guy there said that the kit should only be used when overhauling the entire tranny. he also said it has no performance gains from it at all, like it wont make upshifts faster and smoother, and the only thing it might help do is shorten the kickdown from 4-3, 3-2, 2-1.
he said that the kit is really used to fix problems the tranny comes with originally? is all of this true? or will it actually do what everyone on the site says it will do?
also, what size are the drill bits needed, i can find nothing about them, i even tried home depot, and the guy there had no idea what i was even talking about... i think one of them needed is a 1/16, which i have, and seen something about a 5/54 maybe? thats a weird size if thats needed, but what else?

and the idiot you talked to was incorrect, yes there are some parts in there to replace older model problems, but by simply enlarging the holes with the drill bits you are changing/improving the shifts speed/feel.

yeah the guy i talked to wasnt a very nice guy, and was quite ignorant. the first thing he said to me was, are you a technition, i said no, but ive worked on my car before, then he said, this is not meant for someone like you, and should only be done by someone who knows what they are doing, blah blah blah.
i also read that link mcgyvr, a few times infact, but the thing is, i searched all over and no one has them drill bits, no one even knew what they were, so is there a different size i can use, or do you know the metric sizes of them?

Drill bits should be pretty easy to find and any decent tool shop but here http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=34627 There is a whole set of 1-60 numberd bits for 10 bucks...even go to sears they have them all there too and you should probably be able to buy just the ones you need.
