Hey all I have been dealing with this for a couple of months now. When just idling I'm seeing 1300 deg egts with an a/f ratio of like 10.2-5. I'm guessing that its timing on my 95. Now It has always had some high(900-1000) egts but never in the 1300 deg range at idle...anyway I'm also experiencing the dreaded RMP hang...all the time. Are these two related? FYI I get NO knock at wot or anything...its just really annoying that the car is idling high when im at a stop light as well as its not decelerating correctly.

What RPM range are you at idle? And does it idle higher after being warmed up, or does it stay the same.

I've never messed with the MSnS, but is there any way to pull timing in your idle RPM range?

10.2 AFR at idle......no wonder you are runnign hot. The fuel is burning as it leaves the cylinder because your ungodly rich. Fix the mixture and your EGT will improve.

For reference I idle 800rpm at 800-1000 degrees F 14.9AFR

Bingo. 10.2:1 at idle? That's fucking RICH. I idle ~13.5:1, and even that's richer than I'd like it.
