#99648, "CEL and Compression results...kinda long story."
Well for the past month or 2 my car has been hesitating a little and the CEL has been on for the o2 sensor...Anyways these past 2 weeks my gas mileage has plummeted. I have been spending about 50 bucks in gas a week to just get around. I checked the CEl codes and it was 1:o2 sensor malfunction and 2. misfire on cylinder 2
Anyways i switched out that o2 sensor for another o2 and the gas mileage is a lot better. The hesitation has become more infrequent and not as bad...but it still does hesitate like a misfire when i get on the gas.....AND a NEW CEL code has been thrown... it is "Fuel System too Lean"
Now that you have read the problem... What do you think would be the best fix for this? I am hoping this is a 1 step process....i dont want to go buying all new parts and searching for the problem if i dont have to. Does anyone know what this could be? It is getting really frustrating now. Any help is appreciated thanks guys.

Just kidding. Mike is right on. Plugs. Gap them correctly. Pick up Bosch wires at Autozone and never need to buy replacements again. You might spend $50 on all of it.

Ok wellll....im gonna do the basics first...spark plugs will be put in tomorrow...i cant gap them right due to im not sure how big the gap is supposed to be and i dont have the tool for it....does anyone know what the gap is supposed to be?
Anyways could spark plugs and wires really cause that Fuel System too lean code?
