saw a link for how to replace lifters without removing the cam but the link was old and didnt work, anyone know how to do this or got a link to another writeup?

yes you can do it but not a smart idea and is kinda harder i think i have taken them apart and if you have ever done a timing belt it is pretty much easy then because u know most of the short cuts. If you don't want to mess with the belt then your going to need a good assortment of tools to do the job not just your basic sockets.

It volves putting the cam lobe in the right place and popping the rocker off with two screwdrivers. it's not hard, just takes the right touch. if you check www.archive.org on the link you found, you may be able to find the writeup and if you do, savehe whole thing and send it to me.
