Waterpump shouldnt allow coolant into the oil, but a headgasket will. Have you done a leakdown/compression test?? Search around a little about headgasket failures, I am sure you will find what you are looking for.

it's a head gasket, do not run the engine or you will ruin it. if you have ran it then you might as well pull it out cause the bearings are shot, they may not show it yet but they will very quickly.

If you ran it completely out of coolant or oil, you're really in a bad place. Keep your fingers crossed, but if the car overheated to the point of shutting down, you're likely screwed royally. Sounds like a mad blown HG to me.
If your car got so hot that it literally shut down, you are likely in a world of hurt. I would not drive it until you get the HG replaced or troubleshoot this issue further. These are not the type of problem that go away on their own. You can not have your temp gauge peg on the high side and just keep driving, hoping it will come back down.
