alright lets make this short and sweet before i look really dumb. Im confused on injectors fitting different models, some people i talk to claim injectors fit alot of vehicles while others say they are for individual cars, some claim 4g63 injectors fit the 420a, etc etc. i need someone to tell me straight up wtf is the real deal on injectors.

Unless you can get them for free and are handy with a soldering iron, I'd pass on it. If you need modestly up-sized injectors, look into the Ford Motorsport "redtops" and "bluetops" for some value upgrades. Search for Ford injectors to learn more.

As for the 4G63 question, I used the search and found forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=26&topic_id=148&mesg_id=148&page=.

Most injectors may physically fit, but the impedance may be different. This may require resistors, making custom harness, etc.

Check out my write-up in the Mod's and Tech Info, Fuel System Section, http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=91 . I promise you 4g63 injectors will fit with 420a o-rings, because I've been driving with them...

(and as they mentioned above, you will need to modify your injector harness to use low impedance injectors)

ahh i gotcha. i must know this because i plan on buying some injectors in the future..along with megasquirt, trying to get all the details together and learn this crap. and searching for 420a injectors across the net doesnt not give u many options. i might end up doing the 4g63 mod and get injectors that "fit" the 4g63..i dunno. i didint really want stock 4g63 injectors because the whole reason for MS and injectors etc is because im going turbo. so i was thinking bigger than the stock 4g63's but again, i have to figure all this out.
