Do you have an EGT gauge? It can be very helpful when tuning, to give you a clue as to what the timing advance is doing.
This is really why you need FULL control of your fuel and timing advance, you can dial in your power easily, set it where you want it, and more importantly, what the motor and setup NEEDS for maximum power. I'd love to Megasquirt an NA setup..it would be cool to see what kind of power gains we could get from just that alone..
Nice info about the drop. Might be in the design? I'm going to work on that spot when I put the safc in (probably today).
I like tuning off the A/F and the egt's. I just got my Uego in but because I have multiple cars I need to set it up so I can transfer from car to car. Easy enough, just gotta do it.
LOL! You too with the MSnS, huh?! Lol, I can def. see the advantages to it. Maybe my old ass will get there sometime soon
And Ner947; I did waver between the crower 2's and 3's. It eventually came down to money! I got a deal on the crower 2's so I went with them. Not very scientific but practical:P
Thanks again for the info,
