#99200, "Is this right? (O2 bypass-pic's)"

Could someone verify I got the right stuff to do this and tell me if this is the correct way to wire it? I'm worried if I have the right resistor that goes between the black wires. The paper I printed from vfaq says:
"Now we'll eliminate the heater element of the circuit. You'll need a resistor of ~12 Ohms. This heater element flows around 1 Amp of current so you'll need resistors that can dissipate at least 12 Watts of current. Don't scrimp here as under-rated resistors could set your car on fire."
I do not know much about electronics so I took the paper in radio shack and 2 guys there checked and the only thing they had that was close was a 8-Ohm non-inductive resistor, 20 watt 5% tolerance, the package says "non-inductive for audio applications".
Will this resistor work?? If not does anyone know where I can get the right one?

Thanks for any help.

you want to take the sensor completely out? If not just use the 1mega ohm and dont worry about the heater element.

I know its bad and I can't get it out. It does not matter if its in or out. I read the info on vfaq and it said to cut all wires.
So I can leave the black wires hooked up and just put in the 1 megohn resistor?? Do I still need to put the capacitor in too??
Thanks.
