okay I searched the formus asked everyone but no help so i'm asking you pros for some help! I ordered the intake off of ebay..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-95-99-Mitsubishi-Eclipse-RS-GS-Cold-Air-intake-96_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38634QQihZ019QQitemZ8071120205QQrdZ1

Now it did take a while to get installed... the small tube goes up top then the longer one... if you look at the pic both tubes have a small one off of it... so on the short tube the smaller tube off of it connects to where the stock intake went. But on the longer tube it has another small tube but nowhere to connect it?! I've asked the guy who sold it to me. but no help. should I just plug it up somehow or what?! Please help i need to know what to do! Did he send me the wrong one... thanks for your time!!!!!

No, he sent you the right one. My CAI that I have is the same way... just plug it. Put a bolt in the hole (common sense on size) and take some of the spare tubing you have surround the bolt and one of the spare clamp things they give you, tighten it up on the bolt/rubber hose. The reason for that is because of something in the early Eclipses about Exhaust Gas Recirculation maybe???

It was for the pulsed air injection on 95s that was recalled, my intake has it too. My header has a hookup for that too but it has a cap over it. My car had to have had the recall done because it has a plug of some sort in the one harness that is not plugged in and no CELs. (yet)...
