I searched and can't find any info on bypassing the 02 sensor, I know I read about it somewhere before.
Could someone either point me in the right direction(link(s) or post the info here please.
Thanks

Oh that is SO bullshit.

I just typed "O2 bypass" in the search. The very first three links:

I can't see how, short of the entire site going down while the search results page loaded for you, that you could not have found this answer by using the search. If you searched, you could have spared yourself this kind of reply.

No BS, I did search.
I tried, 02S bypass, 02S rewire, and 02 sensor and nothing on the rewire. Try them and see what you get.
I also looked on VFAQ and searched on Team-2G.
But thanks for the info, I GUESS!

When have you ever seen the o2 sensor abbreviated at O2S? Anyways. 1 mega ohm 1/4 watt resistor in the black wire of the rear o2 accessable by removing the driver seat and cutting some carpet. There.

hmmm... That's very interesting info emoji
I'm pretty sure Dino never got a CEL either, but he attributed that to an overabundance of carbon build-up on his secondary O2 sensor, said it looked like a cone (think Madonna), meh

Sorry for the late reply, I was at my cabin for the weekend.
DR1665,
Excuuuuuse me for searching all forums and not using the correct abbreviation. What you added to your original post is not helpful. The first one is MY post and what the heck is the second one?
(sarcasm):
Yeah searching for info on bypassing my rear oxygen sensor and "Anybody use one of these?" is the first thread that would catch my eye.
I thought these message boards were for sharing info and helping each other out.
I could care less what anybody replys, just don't tell me I did not try searching when I did. And for the record I'm not new here, I've been a member since 01 or 02 under 95'Eclipse. I lost my password when I got divorced and did not have internet for a while.

Again, Sorry for any inconvenience I caused anyone by asking such a stupid yet hard to answer question.

Dude. Don't get all pissy with me. I added the listings (not the links) for the results you would have seen yourself, had you searched for "O2 sensor bypass" which is what your thread is asking about. If all you did was throw "O2S" blah blah into the engine, get nothing back, and call it a day, then you need to work on your follow through.

In case you missed it, I'll highlight the titles of the threads that were the first three hits in general and the first two in performance engine. I can understand how the last thread might not make sense, but the main thing here is that I used the search and got four threads which answered a very common question while you used the search, incorrectly at best, and then just gave up.

Now, I'm done arguing about this.
