you can use either the stock transmission or use the dodge neon SOHC transmission with our bell housing and that will work as well. it has slightly taller gears, so you can really fly if you put down some power.
dino (darkone) has the neon guts behind his 2.4. I have the stock nvt350 gears but desperately want the neon gears.

rent one and jack that shit homes!! you could pull off a tranny switch on a saturday easy. send it back to the rental unit and they won't know the dfference. it's hard to find the manuals though. autos are everywhere though. jeeeah...
