Well that's a great idea brother! the car acctually does not need a temp sensor anyway. I mean you don't want your fans comming on when it's hot, or to have the ECU adjust the fuel based on the temp of the motor right? Don't remove the temp sensor, infact don't remove any sensor, they are usually there for a reason.

Nice move posting without CAPSLOCK. emoji

There is no need to disconnect any sensor unless that sensor has failed and you are replacing it.

Thats easy, you reconnect the sensor and bam no more check engine light. Oh and disconnecting your temp sensor is a dumb thing to do if your gonna do that you might as well just drain all your coolent out of your system and drive around without it, no need for the sensor than theres no need for the coolent either. I can see you now driving down the road with no brake pads, blinker fluid dripping all over the place, car overheating like crazy and running mad rich getting 3 miles to the gallon (if you make it that far) and trying to take out your governor for god knows what reason, hes not the only crooked one running the state ya know.
