What are you talking about and why is your subject gauge pods???? there is only one oil sender unit its the one on the back of the motor towards the driver side the one on the other side is a knock sensor if you unplug the oil sender plug it will throw a check engine light to fix it plug it back in, in order to hook up an aftermarket oil pressure gauge you will need to tee off that hole so that you can plug both the new and old sender unit in, all this info is here on the site search and quit asking stupid questions!!!! or your just gonna get stupid answers

No it will not set off the cel if you remove the oil pressure unit.

The ecu doesn't look for it at all, it just triggers when you've got a whole litre of oil left and your engine is fucked.

I took mine out when I rebuilt it and hooked up the hard oil feed line and the oil pressure gauge on a T from that spot on the back of the block.

As far as temperature....I'm not sure, does it use the nylon line or is there a sensor of some sort?

Well, assuming this is a serious question: There is no oil temperature gauge stock on the car. The only 2 sensor setup on the engine is the CLT where there's one for the ECU and one for the gauge. As for oil temp, when I installed mine, I had to drill a hole in the back side of the pan and install it myself. I got a flange and a gasket that works and no leaks yet! I did mine in the back of the pan for easier access up and to the dash. Be careful, since the passenger side axle is over there and you don't want contact. Remember as well that the axle moves when the suspension does, so you want it waaaaay clear of that.
