It was raining yesterday and I was going up a hill, I give it a little acceleration and remove my foot from the pedal, all the sudden the rpms droped very fast and to the point of 300-400 rpms, it felt like the car was gonna die, but it didnt. After, It kept doing that to me even on straight roads, it only happens when I give it a little gas and lets go. Then my car finally died out when I turned on the AC and turn it off. Today, the problem wouldnt come back at all, but the car still feels kind of weird. Any ideas?
My car is 97 GS auto with Hahn stg 1. New coil and wires and plugs.

I had a problem similar to this once. Check and make sure that the connection to Crank Sensor doesnt have any water in it or on it. May not be related, but I guess it gives a starting point. You said it was raining so thats why I am thinking maybe something got wet.

I am having the same problem as you, I will let you know if I find a solution, also please keep me informed if you find a solution. I am going to try replacing my idle air controller on the throttle body to see if that fixed the problem. I recently got a brand new head put on so I don't know if maybe the timing would be off or not.

A couple of good suggestions ^^^. I think I would lean more towards the IAC than the CAS, as CAS would result in the car just dying. I think an intermittent CAS failure would be more like the engine stumbling for a moment (accompanied by total silence under the hood from the engine not firing at all), then a somewhat startling refire.

Tenzor, I went to my mechinic and had him checked the problem, but on that day my car wasnt doing it anymore so he couldnt figure out what was the problem. But it seems like it might be something related to our Hahns Kit.
