ok got my engine rebuilt, the car runs perfectly but one problem...after shutting off the car i have smoke coming from the hood??? The temperature is reading normal and the car runs fine, however we did see that my radiator has a small crack but we put aluminum stop leak in it and no coolant is leaking out anymore, but it still smokes..any ideas??? my friend spilt anti-freeze on the exhaust header though but that was last night anyway that it is still just burning the coolant off the exhaust?

It should burn for a good half hour or so.

either that or sometimes you will have a little smoke from your gaskets sealing. and smell funky also until they are totally sealed from the heat. but I'm sure it is the coolant..

It's probably the coolant burning off. It will give off a distinct odor -- unlike engine oil.
