Is it possible that my exhaust leak from my catalytic converter could cause my car to stall? It usually stalls in idle, if I rev the engine a little and let go the rpms drop the hell off and it stalls. It primarily stalls when I am going in reverse.

I would have to say that your exhaust leak wouldnt be an issue here. I believe that because when I first got my car done, I drove with just a header and downpipe to test it, and for a day before I got the exhuast put on. I had no problems. Does your cat just have holes or is it clogged which caused the holes?? An exhaust pluggage somewhere may cause your problem. Thats my .02

does it from the second it starts. I notice that at red lights if I hold the brake in and rev up so the car isnt vibrating and such a low idle. I release the gas the rpms drop right off and the car shakes more than sometimes stalls out. This always happens too sometimes it wont stall it will catch itself before it does.

I'd check the injectors. The same thing i'm assuming happened to me with stalling after start up at idle and until the engine fully warmed up to normal temp. After that it quit stalling. But anyways i replaced the injectors had two that were clogged/leaking. Check those out. Just a guess.
