I had a small leak in my radiator, so I bought some of that powder crap to see if that will fix it, its called aluminum something, who knows..anyways I added coolant straight to the radiator and started it up... now remember this is a newly rebuilt engine... waterpump and all is new. However when I opened my radiator cap to see if it looked good, I didnt see any water flowing. The only thing I havent done is put water in that resouvior (sp?) and I havent installed my fans yet... shouldnt I be seeing coolant flowing? and if so, what could possibly not let it? Nothing is clogged either. I had the block and head hot tanked and I know the radiator isnt clogged b/c water goes to the lower hose.... thanks

Using the radiator stopleak was the first, right?

haha I dont know, but the powder shit worked, so I guess it's ok.. the motor starts up and it runs great... except my battery light came on, I know the alt. is good, so I'm gonna have to wait until the morning for daylight (well after church) to see if something is wrong w/ the wiring down there... ahhh it never stops

IT stoped it for a while. that stuff should only be used like say on a trip through the desert and no way to fix it. Get it fixed right or get it fiexed over and over again.
