Ok here is the situation, I have 2 55MM throttle bodies lt's a long story, I go to put them on, this weekend and I can't get me car to idle right whatsoever!, when I put the first one on, it idled fine for about 10 seconds, and then the idle slowly rose topping out at around 3000 rpms! and it didn't come down!, the second throttle body didn't do any better, I played around with both of these for about 4 hours and I finally got them to top out at about 2000 rpms max, and they fluctuate up and down all the time, I checked for vacuume leaks and found none. I finally got frustrated and quit for awhile, about 4 hours later I'm going to mess around with these again, and now my car won't start, I had to crank it over at least 20 times before it finally started! and once again the idle was up and down, any help would greatly be appreciated, this is frustrating the crap out of me

Did you put a new gasket on?? Is the throttle plate sealing against the bore??? Are you sure that the sensors are working correctly???

There is a small gap on both thorttle bodies around the butterfly, and yes I put a new gasket on, I haven't tested the sensors yet, but they worked on the old throttle body
