#96762, "new question now, regarding wiring harness"

ok I have a 95 gs, my questions are, I have 2 wires that are broken, one is black and it has a small black plug that connects the wires together, I cant remember what it goes to, so my question is does anyone know what goes there or what I can splice there to make it ok to put back on the engine, where ever it may go. I know that is a hard description to figure out what I'm talking about, but the black piece that connects the 2 wires is the only one on the wiring harness, it appears to go somewhere near the starter or in that area, I dont think it is a sensor, b/c all of them are plugged in already. The second question is the male connector on the AC, the wire that plugs into it is cut/broken also, can I simply splice a round connector to that and plug it on and it still work fine? thanks
