alright guys, the HG just started leaking worse, so i'm gonna crack down and have it replaced. but, i was wondering. do i just have an external leak, or internal? or is it impossible to tell without opening it up. i don't burn any oil... my car drives completely normal, accept at high end there's not as much torque. (obviously due to compression loss) oil is leaking from the rear end of the driver's side of the engine.

also, where's the best place to buy that gasket kit that everyone gets? how much does it run?

Did you do a compression test? Does it have overheating problems?

Go to the dealership and ask for the new MLS gasket. I forget the part number.
